How to manage internal desktops

Overview of workspace owners' and administrators' rights on managing internal desktops.

Only Workspace owners and Administrators have rights to manage internal desktops. Before starting managing your internal desktop, learn how to create internal desktops here


How to start managing internal desktops:

     1) Open your Desktop.com app

     2) Navigate to the Settings on the left-side panel

     3) Navigate to the Desktops and choose a desktop you need to manage

    4) If you need to change desktop's name and description, click Edit button next to the General information. Click Update button to save changes

     5) If you need to add or remove users, click Manage button next to the Members. Click Update Members button to save changes

     6) If you need to add/remove groups, click Manage button next to the Groups. Click Update button to save changes.

     7) You can also add new apps from this menu by clicking Open App Store

     8) Scroll down to the Danger Zone if you need to Delete desktop. Click Confirm to complete this action.

Managing internal desktops on a mobile device (Android):

     1) Open your Desktop.com app

     2) Tap Expand menu button

     3) Tap Settings button on the left-side panel

     4) Navigate to the Desktops

     5) Choose a desktop you need to manage

     6) If you need to change desktop's name or description, tap Edit button next to General Information

     7) If you need to add/remove users, tap Manage button next to the Members

     8) If you need add/remove groups, tap Manage button next to the Groups

     9) You can also add new apps from this menu. Click Open App Store to start adding a content
