Make sure that emails registered to your Jira and Desktop.com accounts correspond. The Jira account you shall use for connecting to the app integration in Desktop.com app must be an administrator user in Jira Also, you need to check that your visibility settings for the account email is correct
Firstly you need to generate a Jira token for authentication (get a token from your Jira account which you are going to use to authenticate with a Jira instance from the Desktop.com application.)

     1) Navigate to your Profile icon and select Account Settings in the drop-down menu

     2) Navigate to the Security menu, scroll down to API token section and click Create and manage API tokens

     3) Click Create API token button

     4) Enter a token label name and click Create button

     5) The token is generated. Make sure to copy it so you can use it for authentication and linking the Desktop.com account to the Jira account.

You need to make sure that the administrator user who connected the Jira Notification integration has read access to each Jira user's email to be able to make the connection between Jira user and Desktop account. That means Contact visible in Jira needs to be set to the correct scope level. Usually it should be sufficient having it on the organization level as all your users are part of the scope level

  • Being re-assigned to the task
